Last updated: February 22, 2026

1. Information We Collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account. We also access your Google Tasks data (read-only) to display your tasks within the application.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to:

  • Authenticate you and maintain your session
  • Display your Google Tasks in the Eisenhower Matrix interface
  • Store your quadrant assignments (which quadrant you place each task in) so they persist between sessions

3. Data Storage

We store only your email address, Google Task IDs, and corresponding quadrant assignments in our database. We do not store your task content, notes, due dates, or any other Google Tasks data. Task content is fetched directly from the Google Tasks API on each page load and is not cached or persisted on our servers.

4. Third-Party Services

This application uses the following third-party services:

  • Google OAuth 2.0 — for authentication and accessing Google Tasks
  • Turso — for storing quadrant assignments
  • Railway — for application hosting

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your information to third parties. Your data is used exclusively to provide the functionality of this application.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Your quadrant assignment data is retained as long as you use the application. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting the developer. Upon request, all data associated with your account will be permanently deleted from our database.

7. Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), signed authentication tokens, and parameterized database queries. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Google API Services User Data Policy

This application's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the application after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

10. Contact

If you have questions about this privacy policy or wish to request deletion of your data, please contact the developer through the application's repository or support channels.
